All samples are whole bean — grinding fresh makes a real difference to flavour and we won't compromise on that. Each box includes tasting notes, roaster info, and recommended brew methods.

Yes. Email us at info@smplcoffee.co.za before your billing date and we'll pause your subscription for that month. Your subscription picks back up automatically the following month.
Because pre-ground coffee goes stale significantly faster and we won't send you anything less than its best. Grinding fresh, even with a basic hand grinder, makes a real and noticeable difference. If you don't have a grinder yet, this might be the nudge you needed.
That's exactly what samples are for. Not every coffee will be for every palate — that's part of the discovery. The 50g size is enough to give it a fair shot without committing to a full bag. Finding the one that wins makes the whole box worth it.
Every box includes a card with the full details of each roaster — who they are, where to find them, and a QR code to use when ordering direct. We have direct relationships with all our roaster partners so you'll always get a fair price.
